How To Use Alexa On Amazon Fire TV

How To Use Alexa On Amazon Fire TV
Alexa is a personal assistant developed by Amazon Inc. exclusively for the Amazon powered devices. Initially, it was designed to be used in hardware versions such as Amazon Echo and Amazon Echo Dot. However, Amazon later rendered support for the Fire TV as well. Alexa lets you perform a number of tasks through voice interaction. Alexa is also capable of music playback, setting alarms, streaming podcasts, playing audiobooks and providing real-time weather information.

There are two ways you can use Alexa to control your Amazon Fire TV device. First off, if you have a Fire TV remote with a Voice button, you can use it to perform specific functions on your Fire TV by interacting with Alexa. You can also perform the same action on your Fire TV remote app. Else, if you have an Alexa enabled device such as Amazon Echo or Amazon Echo Dot, you can also use it to control specific features of your Amazon Fire TV device without using a remote.

Using Alexa Through Voice Remote
If you have a Voice button on your Fire TV remote, just press and hold the Voice button and say whatever you want Alexa to do for you. You can search for movies, TV shows, play music, launch apps and much more. However, if you don’t have a Voice button on your Fire TV remote, you can still perform the same action using the Fire TV remote app on your smartphone.

Amazon Rolls Out AI Tools And Camera For Businesses
Amazon web services, the biggest provider of Cloud computing services, has launched a series of AI business tools including AI-powered Camera. As far as AI technologies are concerned, Amazon has been a lot active in engaging with AI services. Amazon wants to help companies in implementing AI systems in a lot easier way.

Amazon web services announced about AI tools at annual re:Invent conference and also introduced $250 DeepLens Camera, which grabs much attention. DeepLens is a AI based camera for the developers which can be used to develop their own machine learning apps and hardware. This DeepLens camera is designed for developers only, not consumers.

DeepLens is powered by an Intel Atom chipset, uses a four megapixel camera to take 1080P HD videos. A set of AI tools installed in the camera can recognize optical characters, and image and objects. The trained AI models in DeepLens are also able to detect cats and dogs, faces, a wide array of household and everyday objects, and many actions and motions. It has network and device connectivity by Wi-Fi, USB, and micro HDMI ports. It will let developers experiment and  develop apps along with hands-on experience with AI, IoT, and serverless computing. AWS DeepLens integrated leading-edge hardware and sophisticated on-board software, and allow you to utilize AWS Greengrass, AWS Lambda, and other AWS AI and infrastructure services inside your applications.

DeepLens combines  all varieties of Intel’s hardware and software expertise to provide the developers with a strong tool that can give limitless potential in Smart home AI integration. Let’s take an example, if you own a warehouse and need to scan the inventory automatically then you may require some DeepLens cameras to complete the task.

The new tools and products from the company shows that it is going to make an impact in every-day life with even more AI integrated products. Amazon has also  announced new AI-powered transcription and translation tools for deploying machine learning and a new AI service ,which is designed  for developers and businesses. SageMaker platform is compatible with many popular frameworks such as Google’s TensorFlow, Facebook’s Caffe2, Pytorch, and MXNET.

Full Stack Mean Web Development

Node.JS is an open-source, server-side platform wrapped around JavaScript language for developing dynamic web pages and web applications. NodeJS also provides a rich library of various JavaScript modules which simplifies the development of web applications using Node.JS to a great extent. It provides runtime environment for creating (mostly) server-side applications. Node.js library is very fast in code execution , due to its development in Google Chrome's V8 JavaScript Engine. Companies which are using Node.js  includes eBay, General Electric, GoDaddy, Microsoft, PayPal, Uber, Wikipins, Yahoo, and  more.

Node.JS is one of the four most advanced web development frameworks brought to you by MEAN Stack. The other three are Mongo DB, ExpressJS and AngularJS. Node.js applications are capable of  running on Linux, macOS, Microsoft Windows, NonStop,[49] and Unix servers.. One of the major advantages of Node.js is that it does not block input/output (I/O)  which makes it more efficient and lightweight at the very same time. With the combination of AngularJS which is used for frontend development tasks, NodeJS forms a comprehensive web development suite for the developers.

Most Of The Android Applications Have Secret Trackers

Most Of The Android Applications Have Secret Trackers
Is there something keeping an eye on the activities you do? Yes, we need to accept this fact and this is an invasion of privacy. A new study by Yale University’s Privacy Lab and French non-profit organization Exodus Privacy has shed a light on the privacy concerns of the Android users.

Surprisingly, this report has revealed that hundreds of Android apps have third-party trackers installed in them. They are using “clandestine surveillance software” to keep track on their actions. These tracking tools are devised largely to collect personal information of users for targeted advertising, user behaviors, and location tracking. The prime purpose of these trackers is to gain insights from the user's data for giving them services and their profit.

Many famous apps fall in this “hidden trackers” category, including Tinder, Spotify, Uber and OKCupid and many others too. As per the research was done, about 75 percent of the Android apps are found to have trackers implanted to monitor the user habits and behaviors for monetary gains.

Majority of the Android users are unaware of the fact that their personal data is being shared by these trackers. This research into the Apps of Google play store has raised grave concerns about the user private data.

A tracker named FidZup is very powerful, it can track the movements of the mobile phone users using ultrasonic emitters. It can detect where the users are going for shopping and to which place. In that way, it shows up those ads which are relevant for the users and can help advertising companies by tracking the location of the users.

One more tracker which belongs to the tech giant Google is known as Crashlytics. It is invented to report the crash happens to the apps. It also sends the reasons behind the Apps crashes to the developers. The tracker is also believed to get the user information to infuse live social substance to enchant them and to keep track of what they are involved with. Apps such as AccuWeather and the Weather Channel, contain trackers to surveil web browsing activities and app usage behaviors over the time.

Facebook Rolls Out AI To Detect Suicidal Posts

Facebook AI detect suicidal post
Facebook took an initiative to prevent suicidal attempts. It rolls out “Proactive Detection”  Artificial Intelligence-based tool that will identify if someone shares posts live streams or videos expressing suicidal thoughts. They will even send it to the mental health resources to that user. Vice President of Product Management at Facebook, Guy Rosen, said they want to build a safe community on and off Facebook," He even told that the system has identified few videos which have gone unreported. Facebook has worked on collecting the phrases and hashtags that are related to online challenges related to suicide or self-harm.

Facebook is first testing this concept in the US and will later bring it to other countries. The feature will be available worldwide soon after the successful tests on the US except for European Union. In the initial phase of testing the company detected the texts of Facebook posts and comments contain references to suicide or self-harm. This is done through the group of dedicated experts who have knowledge of self-harm. The AI tool will search for comments like “Are you ok?” and “Can I help” comments as they can be related to suicidal posts.

The company uses AI to prioritize the posts and videos in which they are reviewed, they will figure out the most distress of them all. In this case, the speed matters the most. After detecting the distress or self-harm, the tool alerts the Facebook team and then the company suggests resources to that person or their friends. At times they even call local authorities to intervene depending upon the situation.
