Paytm Brings In App Messaging Service

Paytm, India’s one of the top digital wallet and payment service has finally unveiled its own in-app messaging service which will let its users chat, send and request money from their family and friends. The news of the chat feature called as Paytm Inbox came in the August. Paytm has over 225 million users and 5 million offline merchnat users. Deepak Abbot, Senior Vice President said there is a need of combining social messaging, commerce and payments together. 

The new feature will work as any other chat platform which will let you send messages, videos, photos with a built-in camera, share live location along with the money transfers through its wallet. You can transfer the money through paytm wallet, credit card, debit card or Net Banking. The feature is currently available for Android and will soon be availabele for iOS uers. The company is sure that this messaging feature will be helpful for millions of its users such as merchants, entrepreneurs, and retailers.

However, the company is not sure when will it be available to its iOS users. They even said that in-app messaging feature is encrypted end-to-end so there is no need to worry about the privacy of the chat. The App lets its users recall their messages using Delete for All. 

Paytm is trying to make the app more user-friendly for enhancing the user experience by adding Orders, Notification, and Games. All the cashback offers will be there under the notification tab. Under the orders tab, you will see your orders and transaction updates. Then comes the Game tab which will let you play games. According to the reports, few of the payments app have incorporated chat feature and has seen a spike in its number of users. Sending and requesting money is easy using paytm Inbox. You have to click on the Send Money or request Money option which is there in Chat. Then enter the amount you want to send or receive after that click Send Money or Request Money option.
