Bitcoin Acquires Over 50 Percent Crypto Market Share

Bitcoin Acquires Over 50 Percent Crypto Market Share
There’s no denying that Bitcoin rules the entire Cryptocurrency landscape. With a market cap of nearly $37.5 billion, it’s still way ahead of the other popular altcoins like Litecoin, Ripple and Monero. However, many people were of the opinion that the magic of Bitcoin is somehow fading especially with the emergence of new cryptocurrencies like Ethereum that took the whole world by storm in the recent years. For the first time in history, the share of Bitcoin had dropped down to 46 percent in the Crypto Market. But after a bumpy trip, the Bitcoin has made a solid comeback acquiring more than 50% of the Crypto Market Share once again.

The Downfall of Ripple
The world famous altcoin, Ripple had been on a magical journey several weeks backs. Lately, the market cap of Ripple had gone beyRead more at - http://www.oodlestechnologies.com/blogs/Bitcoin-Acquires-Over-50-Percent-Crypto-Market-Shareond $17 billion swallowing over 25 percent of the market share. However, the last one week has been awful for Ripple as it has lost more than 60 percent of its value in terms of BTC. The market cap of Ripple has also fallen sharply and it now adds up to $8.83 billion. The downfall of Ripple is one of the major driving factors behind the Bitcoin acquiring the 50 percent share in the crypto market once again.

The Rat Race Continues
Despite of being the world’s most extensively used Cryptocurrency, Bitcoin faces immense competition from the other popular Altcoins as already told. While on one hand, the BTC price is rising beyond expectations, it’s also losing its charm as the new Altcoins are getting more and more popular. Also, some persisting issues in Bitcoin have long been avoided, the most severe one of which is the scaling difficulty due to block size limit. Due to scaling issues, the Bitcoin transactions are continuously being delayed which has also led to an increase in the transaction fees. This is one of the reasons why the Bitcoin users are moving toward the other cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin price today, has reached an all-time-high. However, you might not have noticed yet the price of almost all the popular Altcoins is rising. Ethereum is leading the race with a whopping price value of $208 at the time of writing and the market cap of the latter has also reached $19 billion. With this, Ethereum alone acquires more than 20 percent of the total Crypto market share.

Snapchat To Launch Augmented Reality Art Platform

Snapchat art platform
Last year, snapchat acquired an augmented startup called Cimagine. Using that, Snapchat is planning to launch its augmented reality art platform that will feature arts by some of the great artists like Jeff Koons and much more. The details about this augmented art platform are out and people want to more about it. With the art platform, users will be able to pin art to any specific location they want and they will be able to see it when they will keep their phones in the correct location. The feature will be introduced with the Koon’s art from around the world like Sydney, Paris and Las Vegas.

According to the reports, Snapchat is collaborating with the artists to publish their art pieces on snapchat’s augmented reality platform. Snapchat has also launched a countdown clock to 3 PM over a photo of the central park and New York's skyline on the site art.snapchat.com. Group of technical people have decoded the meaning of clock and found out it is related to CEO Evan Spiegel's talk a Vanity Fair’s New establishment summit. The feature can be used to create animations of whatever you see through the rear-facing camera. Snapchat is trying its best to compete Instagram and Facebook. After so much innovation, snapchat is still behind its competitors.

The reason being is that they copy snapchat’s new features as soon as it launches them. By taking inspiration from facebook, Snapchat has launched the 3D world lenses which can be used for adding floating animations. The way it will work is still not clear for that we all have to wait for its launch. Snapchat has similar features as of Pokemon Go called geofilters. It lets its users unlock the filters to certain locations. When they will be near a piece of art, they will see lense. The lens indicted the availability of an art.

The New Google Maps Update Lets You Find Parking Spot

The New Google Maps Update Lets You Find Parking Spot
In the bustling streets and busy roads, it’s never easy to find a parking spot. We often see people struggling to find a parking space in the metropolitan cities like New York, L.A and Chicago. This is perhaps the most annoying thing to do especially when you are already getting late. Google Maps however, has something up for you that can make it a lot easier. The new Maps update allows Android users to find a nearby parking place on the go.

While navigating towards a destination, the app shows you a list of all the parking lots and garages that fall in the vicinity. You can find this list by tapping on the newly added Find Parking option on the Directions card. Once you have found a parking spot, it is automatically added to your trip. After you have safely parked your car, it also shows you the walking directions towards your destination. With this new update, Google has also revamped the Parking Difficulty Icons that were introduced earlier this year in 25 top metropolitan cities of the world. This stunning feature lets you check the availability of parking space on a location even before you are headed to that particular place. You can also save your parking location on the app just like before.

Support And Availability
The Parking Difficulty feature was launched by Google for its Maps application earlier this year in the month of January. It is available on Android and iOS platforms. The feature was initially launched in the United States but Google has now expanded to 25 other cities. These are some of the world’s most popular metropolitan cities like London, Manchester, Madrid, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Vancouver, Rome, Paris, Milan and Rio De Janeiro.
On contrary to this, Find Parking feature is launched quite recently and is available only in the 25 cities of the United States including New York, Boston, Denver, Chicago, Los Angeles, Detroit, Houston, Orlando, San Diego and San Francisco. Also, it has only arrived on the Android platform as of now and it’s still uncertain when this would be coming to the iOS version of the app.

How It Works?
To provide a high level of accuracy, Google is using advanced Machine Learning algorithms and historical parking data. Based on that, it makes highly accurate predictions about the availability of a free parking spot. The parking difficulty depends on various factors like the type of area, time, crowd density of the area and the real-time traffic data gathered from the drivers roaming in that area at a particular time.
